    Alexander Bernard Jefferies, known as "Tha Great," was  born a strong willed Gemini with an undying passion & indisputable talent for music on June 20th 1985.The dream started in Kansas City, MO with him and his friends writing music. Being raised as a kid in Chicago, born in Charleston and residing in Kansas City makes his soul deeply rooted in the Mid-West.

He moved from Chicago when he was around 6 or 7 years old. His father and mother were never married (from what he can recall) this meant he was bounced back and forth between the two. Alexander never really settled into one spot, until he moved to 33rd and Highland (KCMO) in the 7th grade. At the age of 15, he was kicked out of the house, first by his father and then by his mother; after she sent him to juvenile, which he says is harder than jail, "We as a people really need to look into the juvenile justice system in the United States". After spending 6 months in the corrupt system we call juvenile, he was sent to Hilltop for placement which turned out to be a 12 month stay. This 12 month stay would shape the way Alexander seen the world, and the ways he analyzes his choices as a man. 

A powerful voice for those who have no platform THE GREAT now he has 12 Mixtapes and 9 original albums all over the web. He continues doing shows all over the USA and is soon to become a world wide inspiration! His character and music is guaranteed to bring something new, something fresh, while providing substance to the ever changing hip-hop world. Bringing that substance back to the music helping a lost youth, and exposing all corruptness found through out our country.
